Welcome to the Western Australian Zephyr site, glad you found us
You will find contact details for our committee members here and we look forward to your interest and contributions. To become a member all that is required is enthusiasm, you don’t even have to own a Zephyr ! However if you’re looking, we can probably help. We are constantly on the lookout for good parts and cars for member’s restorations, so if you can help, let us know.
We generally meet on the 1st Monday of the month. The official meeting place is at Rare Parts in Welshpool at 8pm. When possible we meet at a members house, this is great opportunity to see what someone else is doing and offer encouragement and support with restorations. For this reason it is best to check with the Secretary for a definite place, time and date if you’re planning to just drop in.
We are having fun setting up our web site and as we learn more about the technology we hope to present to you even more helpful information about our cars, their history, technical tips and specifications.
YANCHEP PICNIC RUN
Our new Events Co-ordinator, David York, has arranged
for us to join the Hotrodders for the day at Yanchep.
Entry to the park is about $5 from memory so make sure
you’ve got some change on you. Whilst there are BBQ’s
there, it would be prudent to have a back-up alternative
to cooking, as these could prove to be very busy. The day
has been organised by GOODFELLAS HRC and they
advise that departure will be from Kingsway Shopping
Centre at 10.30am. As any further info comes to hand it
will be published in the November minutes.
